Hutch

40 year old hockey dad of two youth hockey players trying to give my kids the competitive hockey experience my parents couldn’t afford. I’ve developed into a gritty stay-at home D man in my old age which means I’m likely to block your shot because I’m not nimble enough to get out of the way quickly. I coach a mites rec team and have my USA Hockey Level 1 (8U) coaching certification. I’m also a Marine Corps and Army veteran serving as the NJ regional representative and Director of East Coast Operations for Defending the Blue Line, a non-profit charity dedicated to fulfilling the hockey dreams for the children of our military service members through gear donations, camps and grants. I truly love all levels of hockey… if there’s a puck on the ice being whacked with a stick then I’m there. Whether it’s on a pond, in an arena, youth, juniors, high school, college, sled, women’s, minors and of course the NHL then I am excited for it and excited to share it. I love this game and I’m determined to grow it wherever I go and however I can…
